You need to add gearbox like system (don't know the word for it) to increase the rotation inside, and bigger capacitor before the LED (3v) to charge it, so you can crank it and then it light from cap. for a minute maybe :D

If you notice, its a gearbox system that he already uses in the video. Like anyone is going to have one of those just lying around in their workshop.... Little motors, yes, motors with gearbox... no.

You can use this if you have a power outage. They make flashlights with a hand crank as well, but some people like working with their hands and this could be a fun little project.
