Wait, are those 2 LEDs inside the bulb extra LEDs for when they burn out? Also why are you cutting off the end of a perfectly good battery when all you need is literally any conductor to put there. Just use a small piece of aluminum foil or a spare wire. And why use a lighter when you have a saudering iron?

It boggles my mind - why totally misinform people? A conductor would also allow more current through the remaining LED's & will be brighter!

I tried this. When I cut off the end of the battery some stinky battery juice leaked out and got on my hands. Idk if the battery was too full or something because the juice was super hot. Now my skin is all red and I can't feel my fingers. I just wanted to fix my LED bulbs.

Вместо зажигалки я использовал обычную восковую свечу. Так удобнее. А с грифелем классно получилось!

So basically your solution is either short round the failed LED - increasing the voltage on the other LEDs and making them fail sooner - or replace the LED with another one. Replacing is fine but use the correct tools and the correct LEDs. You cannot just pick any LED from another bulb as there are different voltage types. Use a working LED from another bulb of the same type.

CLICKBAIT as usual, my life is EXACTLY the SAME after "learning" these tips, tho why the variety? If the graphite tech works, just use that pencil and do all of them like that. If you are super anal and want to swap out diodes, have at it. I often try to save LED bulbs tho WalMart is starting to make me rethink with 4 bulbs 100w 1500 lemons for about $9-10. ... SFMF

Yep - to me it's cheaper to buy another bulb rather than fiddle with the LEDs (and I'm an electrical engineer).
