That transparent lock it's a lock for practising and it can be opened easily without the need of creating this tool, i would love to se working on a normal lock to show its efficacy. Good video though 👍

Thats exactly what i was thinking. I have one of those practice locks and it literally has 1 pin that is out of alignment with the cyclinder part..... you can open it by sticking a toothpick in and jiggling it.

What, did it take, like, 5 hours prep?? Pop open a small-ish lock like that with thick screwdriver or crowbar if it's locked on something and buy a new lock for $8 or so next time you're at a store and spend the 4 hours you save with family and/or friends.

Like a number of other comments here you somewhat miss the point that this is about a bit of creative entertainment. The video isn't intended to demonstrate the quickest, the simplest or most efficient method of opening a padlock. If it was that then a grinderette with a cutting disc would feature as the main tool in the video.
